Promotion
BBHK is a world-wide missionary campaign. It is also one of the youth uniformed organizations supported by the Hong Kong Government. The UGD aims to promote the boys’ brigade movement and spread the good news of Christ amongst youths. We work with churches, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, Christian organizations and youth centres. We hope more people will know about our ministry through different activities and vision sharing events.

Care and Support
Besides promotional campaigns, the UGD also cares about the growth and development of companies. The UGD staff regularly visit local companies, exchange ideas and pray for their needs. We also organize different social activities and give support to companies. In addition, we attend the Dedication Ceremonies of different companies and take the opportunity to introduce the boys’ brigade ministry to all members, parents and participants. |
Administration
To ensure the quality of our ministry work, the UGD collects data, keep records and analyze the data to learn about the present status of different companies. We carry out a statistical census in each company once a year to keep track of the progress of the boys’ brigade movement. |

Cohesion of Communication
The UGD plays a key role in policy enforcement. We disseminate information, communicate with different companies and ensure the implementation of regulations, e.g. the training system, uniform regulations and the zoning plan. We also organize large-scale events such as the Founder’s Day Parade, social services, international and mainland exchange programmes, fund-raising activities and international camps. We hope to build a close bond between companies and co-ordinate between different divisions and committees to facilitate the enforcement of regulations.
